Cartoons – the children’s TV show

TV show do not merely mean the live characters that we see plotting for and against each other. There are also cartoon shows for children, and they successfully run on for many seasons. The first cartoon TV show that had become popular the entire world over, was Walt Disney’s Mickey Mouse. A talking mouse and his talking other animal friends had always and still do attract every one of us. Adults and children like have loved spending their time watching cartoons, for a laugh. With the launch of Cartoon Network in the 1990s, we found that our afternoons and evenings were thoroughly enjoyable, as they launched entertaining and educative TV series. With moral teachings, or simply funny stories, the cartoons have added a new spice to our lives. While the cartoons that had been launched in the ‘90s was far better than the mindless jargons we are forced to sit through these days, there are some cartoons that have been picked up and re-run again and again, due to popular demand. It was not until recently that Cartoon Network decided to take cartoons like the Powerpuff Girls, Dexter’s Lab, Swat kats and Captain Planet off their run time for good. Yet the cartoon Tom and Jerry has continued to run and still runs successfully to this day. It might be the same old episodes, and we might know them like the back of our hands, but we still love seeing the adventures of the mischievous cat and mouse duo. Cartoons have become a huge part of the TV culture, and while adults allow their children to watch it for half an hour daily, they too become hooked to these cartoon shows. The creative heads never seem to run out of ideas to entertain and educate a child in a way; they would enjoy the knowledge that is bestowed upon them.
